Your year-end gift will make sure a trumpeter swan is in an area that is safe, secure and known
Right now trumpeter swans are migrating to wintering areas. They are feeding and resting in places that are largely unknown.
Is the swan in safe and secure habitat? Is it in a new area or an area that more and more swans are using? Is it injured or sick?
It is important to know where a swan migrates, winters and nests during the year. It is important for the safety and security of the swan.
If a swan is in an area that is not safe or secure habitat, the location could be a serious threat for any swan that finds it.
Areas that are known to be used by swans can be better protected and managed to make sure swans thrive throughout the year.
The good news is that you can help!
Your year-end gift will make sure a trumpeter swan migrating and wintering right now is in an area that is safe, secure and known.
And your gift will support all the work of The Trumpeter Swan Society.
